History

Pipemech Australia Pty Ltd is a privately-owned Australian Company and was established in Australia in 2011.

To his new company, Rohan Ackroyd brings the same industry capability, reputation and expertise which made his previous enterprise ~ Ackroyd Engineering Services (AES), Winner of WTIA Small Fabricator 2008 Award and a multi-million dollar business so successful that it was acquired by a well-known ASX-listed company in 2008.

AES Specialized in the fabrication and installation of mechanical equipment, pressure piping, high pressure welding and structural steel erection.

AES owned and operated a fully equipped workshop and provided extensive on-site experience and highly skilled personnel.

Primarily servicing the Oil and Gas, Power and Water Process Industries, AES coordinated and oversaw the activities of large teams of specialist and generalist personnel to deliver short, medium and long term construction projects.

Key Achievements:

• Rohan was awarded 'Small Fabricator of the Year 2008' by the Welding Technology Institute of Australia (WTIA)
• A turnover of $16M in FY2008 and peak employment of 150 personnel was achieved
• AES achieved ISO 9001 accreditation in 2004
• AES opened its fabrication facility in Brisbane in 2004
